We all love and admire sexy eye makeup. It gives you an extended look and big eyes. You need to know some tricks to achieve the look for sure but the most important thing is the right product. 

So what you need to check before buying your new eyeliner? 

THE CONSISTENCY

The first thing you have to pay attention to is the consistency, when you swatch an eyeliner on the back of your hand it doesn't have to bleed to your skin texture. It has to stay in place while drying if not it's a nono. The eye skin is much thinner than any other part of our body so a runny eyeliner will go into the creases, if you try to clean it will be a mess trust me. 

THE COLOR

If you are looking for a sexy fiery cat-eye style you need the darkest shade of black, a charcoal black. Otherwise, it will look dull. If you have hazel or brown eyes the black will make your eyes pop. Choose a matte black color because in my opinion the shiny ones will not give you the vibe you want and they tend to peel.

THE DURABILITY


A good eyeliner will not go off by washing your hands with water, so it had to be really waterproof. So you can go to the store, swatch it in your hand and go for a tour or do something and then check it after. If it stays in place it's the one. 


THE FELT TIP 



We don't love sturdy felt tips here. A felt top with tiny hairs is perfect because it will give you the ability to move it as you want, it will bend so you can go from outside the eye to the inner corner easily especially if you are a beginner and you need to make your wing in several moves.
