The Levi's x Miu Miu collaboration is here to confirm that luxury brands can be more sustainable through upcycling and revisiting oldies.
Announced in December, this huge decision was a delight for fashion, luxury, and environment devotees. Miu Miu chose Levi's to collaborate with and create a collection from its past items, and add its very feminine and luxurious touch.
Actually, it's not the first time that Levi's grabbed the attention of Italian luxury houses. Valentino did it first in an unforgettable appearance at the Spring Summer 2021 fashion show, but the articles kept the same no modification have been made.

Today, Miu Miu is pushing the boundaries of upcycling!
Levi's is now Miu Miu-fied, the iconic pieces such as the 501 Jeans and the Trucker Jacket are updated with feminine detail, hand-embroidered flowers, beads, and crystals.
Jackets are reimagined with puff sleeves and lace, while denim pants are decorated with leather and silk pieces. As it is entirely a vintage collection, each piece – from the 1980s and 1990s – is unique.
The final touch of this capsule is a Miu Miu travel bag stamped with the Levi's logo.
The collection will first be unveiled at Selfridges in London and IAPM in Shanghai in mid-May. It will then be sold on miumiu.com at the Dover Street Market of Los Angeles and in 18 Miu Miu stores in the world.
